Long proud of its dedication to maintaining the environment Noosa is one of only two biosphere reserves in Queensland – recognising the diversity of its unique biodiversity. A walk through the National Park will usually reveal turtles, dolphins or koalas while humpbacks can regularly be seen from June through to November.

Laguna Estate has four shopping destinations within close proximity, the most famous of these being Hastings Street renown for its food and fashion. Noosa is also supported by the major supermarket, hardware, homewares and other chains along with a variety of fantastic independant retailers.

The Noosa Hinterland is the source of many fabulous primary producers. Their amazing produce is available throughout the Noosa region in its world class restaurants and cafes. From fine dining restaurants enjoying spectacular scenery to the many affordable cafes, there’s something for every budget.

Noosa is the home to many exciting festivals and events which occur every year. For the sporty there’s the Festival of Surfing and Noosa Triathlon.
